Tournament Information

Welcome

To the 2nd Annual Shirley Hall Memorial Tournament!

All funds raised will go to benefit Welland Hospital's Emergency Room Department, where Shirley worked.

Last year's tournament was a great success and we raised over $11,000 which was donated to the Emergency Department at the Welland site of the Niagara Health System. We couldn't have done this without the generosity of our hole sponsors, prize donators, golfers and volunteers that helped to make this a memorable day.

So now is the time to get ready for this year's tournament which will be held on June 15th at Pelham Hills Golf and Country Club. Register early as only the first 120 golfers can come out and play with us on June 15th.

All committee members are also selling raffle tickets, $2.00 each or $3.00 for 5 for the following prizes:
  • 1st prize 42" Panasonic Plasma TV

  • 2nd prize Bosch 18 volt, five Tool Cordless combo set click here to see

      About Shirley Hall

    Shirley Hall was a wonderful lady. She was an RPN at the Welland Hospital for over 40 years. Shirley worked on the Woolcott Wing, Obstetrics/Paeds and the Emergency Department. No matter where Shirley worked, she was known for her compassion, professionalism and work ethic.

    Shirley was however, able to speak her mind and stand up for what she believed in. She always practiced the core basics of nursing. The patients adored her, and often told her what a fantastic nurse she was, as did the staff.

    Shirley had four passions in her life - her loving husband Jimmy, her children and grandchildren, her work and of course, golf. What better way to honour such a special woman than to memorialize a golf tournament in her name!
